First Pro-Am card at 559 Fights 115 on June 14th at Eagle Mountain Casino in Porterville.

Porterville, Calif. - 559 Fights has officially announced the main and co-main events for the first Pro-Am card at 559 Fights 115 on June 14th at Eagle Mountain Casino in Porterville.

The historic event will also be hosted by former UFC champions Brandon Moreno and Alexa Grasso.

559 Fights recently became officially licensed as a Professional Promotion by the California State Athletic Commission and will host professional mixed martial arts for the first time.

The main event features two seasoned veterans - former UFC middleweight Nick Maximov (11-2) and former PFL, UAE Warrior and XFC fighter Handesson Ferreira (20-6-1).

The 27-year-old Maximov is a former 559 Fights amateur champion and fights under claimed MMA coach Jason Parillo who also coaches UFC's Chito Vera and Luke Rockhold.

"Maximov was a great champion for us early in his career," 559 Fights CEO Jeremy Luchau said.

Luchau was one of the Valley's top professional matchmakers and promoters for several years before starting 559 Fights.

"I'm looking forward to seeing Maximov continue to evolve," Luchau added. "We are going to continue to be a launching pad and proving ground for MMA."

The 37-year-old and Brazil native Ferreira fights out of the Team Jorjao gym.

In the co-main event former A1 Combat fighter Cesar Hernandez (6-3) takes on fellow A1 Combat veteran and Dana White Contender Series fighter Billy Brand (5-3).

"Brand and Hernandez are certainly matched to be a fight of the night contender," Luchau added.
