VISALIA – Things are heating back up at Valley Strong Ballpark home of the Visalia Rawhide this Saturday.
559 Fights returns, dropping its mixed martial arts cage on home plate for a night of fights and grappling.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the first fight starts at 7. Tickets available online and at the door starting at $35.
The main event features a 559 Fights Lightweight Title showdown between Lindsay’s Mark Felix (4-3) and Hollister’s Romeo Beltran (2-3). In the co-main event, former 559 Fights 125-pound champ Josue Gonzalez (3-2) of Paso Robles is back to try and re-gain the vacant crown against Farifield’s Terrance Saeteurn (6-0).
“In our second show back we are going to continue with huge main and co-main events,” said 559 Fights’ president Jeremy Luchau “The Gonzalez/Saeteurn fight is especially notable, as the pair will also be fighting for a CAMO state title.”
In the feature fight of the night, 559 Fights cruiserweight champ Tristan Hatfield (5-1) moves up to heavyweight to try to become a double champ and faces Fresno’s Kail Melton (2-2).
In all 16 mixed martial ats fights and four grappling matches will be contested.
